Melanie’s ability to engage, influence, and empower others is unmatched. She developed a strong performative background in the theater, which contributed to her success as an on-camera TV/Radio Host and Interviewer – having interviewed everyone from Tyler Perry to rising entrepreneurs. Melanie also worked in Customer Service, Sales, and as a Brand Ambassador educating consumers on notable brands like AT&T before becoming a successful Marketing Manager and eventually a Marketing Agency Founder. She now shares the secrets to becoming an expert communicator and developing strong relationships with everyone from corporate employees to individuals seeking to navigate challenging conversations with friends and family.
Melanie earned a Master of Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School, a program that strengthened her ability to be introspective, accept feedback, and understand how to drive employee motivation and effectiveness in the workplace. She also has a B.A. in Radio & Television with a minor in Marketing from San Francisco State University.
Additionally, Melanie is the Founder of the nonprofit My Friendship Values, which empowers young ladies to develop and maintain healthy friendships. The nonprofit is known for its signature social emotional learning workshop, which Melanie developed and facilitates at middle/high schools, school district conferences (LAUSD), and youth empowerment programs.
Melanie’s greatest passion is to empower individuals to reach their full potential personally and professionally, and she utilizes a number of platforms to achieve that goal.
